This is a 1 of a kind classic automobile with a history unlike any other. This unique taxi cab was used by the United States Secret Service for undercover and surveillance activities in the Los Angeles & San Francisco areas.

This vehicle was always driven by a United States Secret Service Agent (whether in a surveillance or undercover capacity). Almost exclusively, the undercover U.S. Secret Service agent, sitting in the left rear seat, was purchasing counterfeit U.S. currency from the suspect in the right rear seat of the cab.

When the arrest signal was given by the undercover agent in the back, the driver would pull to the curb, pull out a .357 magnum revolver, point it at the suspect, identify himself as a U.S. Secret Service Agent and state "freeze, you are under arrest!"

Although the meter was running, the defendant never got "charged" for the ride to jail.
